(WJW) – After no ticket matched all six numbers drawn Tuesday night, lottery officials said the big prize jumped to an estimated $680 million — the ninth largest jackpot in Mega Millions history.

As lottery officials have previously said, as the jackpot grows, so goes the excitement, generating more sales — and more winners!
According to a media releasethe October 21 drawing produced more than 430,000 winning tickets across all prize tiers, for total winnings of almost $12 million.
The largest amount of cash will go to one ticket, sold in Illinois, which is worth $3 million.
Other noteworthy winners included a ticket in New Jersey worth $100,000, five tickets worth $20,000, and five more tickets worth $30,000, including one in Ohio.

The numbers in the Tuesday night drawing were: 2, 18, 27, 34 and 59, plus the gold Mega Ball 18. CLICK HERE to check your numbers.
The jackpot was last won at $348 million on June 27, said the media release.
