Quiver Acquires Beau Bridges Starrer ‘Blue Eyed Girl’ For North America

EXCLUSIVE: Quiver Distribution has landed North American rights to Blue Eyed Girla comedic drama starring Marisa Coughlan and Beau Bridges, premiering Nov. 21 in theaters and on digital.

Described as “a coming-of-age story at forty-something, not fifteen,” Blue Eyed Girl stars Coughlan as Jane Messina, who is forced to re-evaluate her life after returning home to visit her two sisters and her sick father, making her wonder what could have happened with her first love.

Directed by Mills Goodloe, the film also stars Eliza Coupe (Happy Endings), Freddy Rodriguez (Six Feet Under), Sam Trammell (Euphoria, True Blood), LisaGay Hamilton (The Practice) and Bridey Elliot (Saturday Night Live).

Written and produced by Coughlan, the movie was filmed in her native Minnesota as a love letter to her hometown and her late father.

Blue Eyed Girl is produced by Goodloe, Coughlan, Stephen Wallack, Conroy Kanter, Jeremy Alter, Bianca Goodloe and Louise Spinner. Jim Roberts, Joel Michaely, and Jack Anderson serve as executive producers.

Larry Greenberg negotiated the deal on behalf of Quiver, with Bianca Goodloe on behalf of the filmmakers.
