After getting more than they bargained for at their neighbor’s Christmas get-together, one couple’s marriage is now on the brink after the wife got more than just a little merry
A couple who innocently thought they were going to a neighbor’s festive party were left gobsmacked at the true reality of the situation.
When the partygoers moved into the new estate in the summer, they found everyone was friendly towards them, despite hearing some unusual things about their direct next door neighbors.
The anonymous couple revealed that their marriage almost broke down after they had accepted an invitation from the couple next door, as it turned out to be a swingers festive get together.
The husband said his wife ended up getting more than just happy as she had sex with another of the men at the party, but now she is the one who is angry as he “allowed” it to happen to her.

Seeking advice from The Sun’s Dear Deidre, the man explained that their neighbors are a slightly older couple in their mid forties, while he and his wife are 32 and 35-years-old. He detailed: “We ran into our neighbors one evening in the local pub and they invited us back to their place after closing time. The children were at my Mum’s so we accepted their invitation then as we walked up the road, we saw lots of cars parked outside their house.”
He then claimed when the women took off their coats they weren’t “dressed appropriately”. As the music got louder and the drinks had started flowing he said they “went along with it” due to already having “plenty” of alcohol. However things took a turn when he said a man of about 40 came over and started dancing with his wife, as the bloke “ran his hands up her dress”. The husband was shocked as he could tell “she was enjoying it”.
“I watched them as he kissed her and then he took her through to a different room and they had sex on a mattress on the floor. I followed to check my wife was OK. I didn’t get off with anyone but I had a great time,” he explained. The wild experience took a surprising turn, as the following day his wife accused him of giving her away to a stranger and has “barely” spoken to him since.
He thinks she participated on her “own free will” and believes he didn’t do anything wrong but their family life “feels so different now”.
The advice from the agony aunt was that couples who enjoy swinging parties make clear boundaries before they begin, but in this instance, this couple “didn’t have the chance to discuss it”. The pro said: “Find a moment to tell her that you love her and that you want to put this experience behind you. It wasn’t something you’d signed up for and you need to get your relationship back on track.”
