Ahmed Moussa confirmed that the American “Al-Hara” channel was one of the tools of the American media’s message aimed at the Arab world, pointing out that it was broadcasting its programs in the Arabic language and its writers are in Egypt and the Gulf countries.
Musa said, during the presentation of the program «على المصلاعيتي» المذاع على قناة «صدى البلد», that the channel was trying to target the Arab and Egyptian youth especially, adding: ‘They were hosting some guests, and often those who came out to them had positions hostile to Egypt and the country’.
Musa added that the channel was not as independent as it seems to be, but directly subordinated to the official American speech, explaining: ‘All those who speak in it do not talk about American politics, they don’t have free opinion or restricted media’.

Musa pointed out that the channel lost its full funding after the decision of the American president Donald Trump, confirming: “Trump decided to end the funding, the channel closed its doors and laid off the employees, because it was simply alive on the American flow.”
He explained that the influence of the channel in the Arab world was very limited, and that its existence was only to convey the American point of view in the Arab world, and to present the faces calculated on the agendas hostile to the Arab state.
