Engineer Hassan Al-Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, met with Omar Al-Rifa’i, Director of the Government Affairs Department of Abl for the Middle East and Pakistan, where the meeting discussed investment opportunities in front of the company in the Egyptian market, and the possibilities of enhancing its presence in Egypt during the next phase, as part of the Ministry’s vision to attract quality investments that contribute to the support of the national economy and the strengthening of the technology sector.
The minister confirmed the position of the Egyptian market as an important exploitation point for the Abl International Company, pointing out that the company’s desire to be present in Egypt reflects its great confidence in the economic capabilities of the Egyptian state and its strategic location, as well as that the presence of the company in Egypt provides promising opportunities to develop the local market and support employment in the technical fields.
“Al-Khatib” explained that Egypt has proven high efficiency in the field of communication and training centers, which makes it an attractive environment for the expansion of international companies such as Apple, not to mention that the development of the digital infrastructure and the availability of trained personnel give the company an opportunity for sustainable growth in the Egyptian market.
The minister pointed out that the contact and training centers of the Abl company in Egypt are considered among the best centers in the Middle East, where they provide a sophisticated environment for training national staff and enhancing their skills, which reflects the level of professionalism of international companies in dealing with local human resources, confirming the ministry’s desire to support and expand these initiatives.
“Al Khatib” also invited Apple to establish an official store (Apple Store) in Egypt, to enhance user experience and provide the company’s products directly in the local market, explaining that the ministry is ready to provide all the facilities and support needed to succeed in this project, which will contribute to strengthening Egypt’s position as a regional center for technology and innovation.
The minister pointed to the importance of exploiting modern technology in supporting economic and social development, confirming that cooperation with the Arab company represents a successful model in attracting technological exploitation to meet the requirements of the global market.
“Al-Khatib” emphasized the ministry’s desire to provide all possible support to the company for its presence and expansion in the Egyptian market, pointing to the ministry’s full support for all initiatives aimed at expanding the scope of cooperation with the company, whether in the fields of technology or human skills development.
