The Ministry of Health and Population announced that it will provide 30 million and 781 thousand and 51 free medical services during 20 days, since the third edition of the campaign “100 days of health”, which began on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in the framework of the improvement of health services provided to citizens in various parts of the Republic.
The campaign comes in implementation of the instructions of Dr. Khalid Abdul Ghafar, Deputy Prime Minister of Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, and emphasized the importance of promoting national health initiatives, and their role in improving the efficiency of the health system and achieving comprehensive health coverage.
Dr. Hussam Abdul Ghafar, the official spokesman of the Ministry of Health and Population, explained that the campaign provided 847,000 and 685 million free medical services on Sunday, indicating that the campaign provides services with the participation of 12 different sectors, where each sector had a complementary role in implementing the campaign and achieving its health and development goals, and according to this cooperation, the campaign provided 657,000 and 381 services. From the primary care sector.
“Abdel Ghafar” said that the campaign “100 days of health” provided 459 thousand and 607 services in the medical care sector, in addition to providing 113 thousand and 332 services in the presidential initiative for public health, as well as providing 98 thousand and 735 services in the preventive medicine sector.
“Abdel Ghafar” pointed out that the campaign provided 52,000 and 254 services from the units of the General Authority for Hospitals and Educational Institutions, while the mental health support initiative “Sahtek Saadea” provided 11,000 and 269 services, and the campaign provided 218,000 and 814 services from the hospitals of the General Authority for Health Insurance.
“Abdel Ghafar” added that the ambulance service provided 5 thousand and 809 emergency services, while 107 thousand and 211 services were provided through the hospitals of the specialized medical centers, and the specialized medical councils issued 14 thousand and 788 treatment decisions at the expense of the state, in addition to performing 2 thousand and 831 operations on the waiting list, while the hospitals of the medical institution provided 12 thousand and 804 services.
وتعب «عبدالغفار» that the «100 يوم الصحة» campaign provided health education and training services to 92,000 and 850 citizens, through community outreach teams spread in public areas, districts, and shopping malls (almolas) in various governorates, with the aim of raising health awareness and guiding citizens to benefit from the services provided by the campaign, as well as organizing educational events and various awareness activities.
