John Lewis shoppers get Le Creuset mugs for £7 instead of £23 with deal stack

Shoppers are gearing up for Christmas at John Lewis with an offer on a festive mug collection from Le Creuset. The luxury cookware brand has released a new range with four Yuletide-themed mugs to choose from.

Each stoneware mug is made with a specialist clay and features an illustration on the front, including Noel Santa, Noel Rudolph, Noel Snowman and Noel Christmas Tree. Each one is sold separately and costs £23.

However, the money-saving website Top Cashback is offering Le Creuset fans a way to get a mug for cheaper. By registering with Top Cashback as a new member, customers will receive a free £15 bonus back into their account following their first purchase.

For new members of Top Cashback, and all customers of John Lewis, a Le Creuset Christmas mug will cost £7.81 after cashback. It’s the perfect cup during the colder months, ideal for teas, coffees, cozy hot chocolates and mulled wine.

For shoppers who’ve used TopCashback before, the price is not as discounted, unfortunately. Although cheaper than John Lewis’ £23 price, existing TopCashback members will pay £22.81, which may not be worth the process for some.

Similarly, Emma Bridgewater collectors can now pick up festive mugs for her latest collection. This Nutcracker-themed mug (£26 per mug) is half a pint in capacity and is made from earthenware clay.

For Christmas mug sets, look to M&S, where this set of four Spode one is priced at £50. Each porcelain mug features a tree and holly design, along with a peppermint handle.

Returning to the Le Creuset Christmas mugs at John Lewis, a customer said: “I bought two of these seasonal Le Creuset mugs. Quality is great, and it’s nice to have a winter mug for yummy hot chocolate and marshmallows!

“They were reduced in the sale, so bargain price too. I would recommend.” Another shopper, who bought the Neoal Christmas Tree printliked it but also noted a downside in it not being dishwasher safe.

They said: “The print is really pretty, disappointing that it only has print on one side. So from the outside it looks like a standard Le Creuset mug.

“Not dishwasher proof, as expected.” Additionally, a buyer of the Noel Rudolph mug wrote: “These are such beautiful mugs, but I do wish they were dishwasher safe! The reindeer is especially festive.”
