Dr. Naji Faraj, adviser to the Minister of Gold, confirmed that the reports issued by the World Gold Council and monitoring the current economic situation indicate that the world is going through a state of “inflation”, stressing that this crisis will not be limited to developed countries only, but will affect the United States as well.
Faraj said during his meeting with the journalist Ahmed Musa in the program “Oli responsibility” broadcast on the channel “Saddy Al-Balad”, that the global uncertainty has reached its highest level, along with the high fear index in the global stock markets, which has led to the emergence of unprecedented prices in the markets.
Faraj added that the current situation between the United States and China is a first-style trade war, through which each country seeks to impose its economic and monetary dominance, saying: “Every party seeks to impose its dominant role on the global economy.”
The adviser to the Minister of Al-Tammouin explained that Egypt can take advantage of these changing economic conditions, especially with the opening of new markets for Egyptian products, adding: “It’s a beautiful thing and we need it in a good way.”
Faraj pointed out that Egypt during the past period exported large quantities of gold, especially when the price of gold reached 4000 pounds, where there was considerable selling power in the local market, which prevented the country from achieving good returns on the difficult business.
