Egypt’s first national football team, today, Saturday, finished its final preparations to face the Guinea-Bissau national team, in the final round of qualifying for the World Cup 2026 finals, which will be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
It is scheduled to lead the team in a light evening at the Cairo International Stadium under the leadership of the technical director Hussam Hassan and his assistant, in preparation for the final meeting.
And the technical team announced the opening of the team’s training today in front of the media for a quarter of an hour, from 7:30 to 7:45 p.m., to capture some footage and press coverage.

The national team officially qualified for the 2026 World Cup after defeating Djibouti 3-0 in the penultimate round of the qualifiers, which was held at the Al-Zaouli Stadium in Dar Al-Bayda, Morocco, to raise its score to 23 points, 5 points ahead of second-placed Burkina Faso.
The match will be held on Sunday, October 12 at the Cairo International Stadium.
Although the match became a result after the confirmation of Al-Fraa’na’s qualification, the technical manager Hussam Hassan is trying to achieve victory in the last round to reach the 26th point, and the stadium of the Cairo Stadium was turned into a festive carnival on the occasion of qualifying for the World Cup.
