The government confirms that gasoline, solar, and natural gas prices for cars will not change until next October
تشغل البنزين اليوم الإثنين 1 September 2025, the interest of citizens, whether for gasoline of different types or solar or natural gas for cars, especially after the case of the competition that preceded the meeting of the Al-Tsafir Al-Thaiqa committee.
The Egyptian government confirmed that gasoline prices will remain unchanged until next October, following the instructions of Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, who stressed the need to protect citizens from new increases in fuel prices during the current period.

The Al-Tasafir Al-Tasai Committee was supposed to hold meetings last July to determine gasoline and fuel prices, but the government decided to postpone the meeting for an additional 3 months.
And so the gasoline and solar prices continue as they are since the last adjustment was made in April 2025, in a step aimed at easing the economic pressure on citizens and not imposing any additional burden on them.
Officially applicable prices until October 2025
Fuel stations in all provinces continue to operate according to the gasoline prices announced by the government since April last year, as follows:
The price of 95 liters of Al-Benzin: 19 pounds.
The price of a liter of Albenzin 92 وكتان: 17.25 EGP.
The price of 80 liters of Albenzin: 15.75 pounds.

Price per liter: 15.5 pounds.
The price of natural gas for cars: 7 pounds for the cubic meter.
تن المازوت للصناعات price: 10,500 pounds.

The government stressed that the executive bodies in the various governorates impose strict controls on the fuel stations to ensure full compliance with the published official prices. I confirmed that any attempt to increase or manipulate gasoline prices will result in immediate legal action to protect consumers’ rights.
The factors affecting the determination of gasoline prices
The automatic pricing committee depends on several factors when reviewing gasoline and fuel prices every 3 months, the most prominent of which are:
average international prices for crude oil.
cost of production and transfer of fuel to Egypt.
Prices only for the Al-Jiniyeh against the Dollar.
These integrated elements determine whether gasoline prices will be adjusted or adjusted in future meetings.

It is expected that the next meeting will be held in October 2025 according to the annual quarterly mechanism. It will evaluate the state of the local and global market, with a careful review of the previous factors before making a decision on gasoline prices.

Al-Chancellar Muhammad Al-Homsani, the spokesman for the Council of Ministers, confirmed that the country is committed to raising the price of gasoline or other gasoline before the meeting of the Committee in October, explaining that the decision comes as part of the policy of protecting consumers from global price fraud and supporting the establishment of the local market.
