The Ministry of Health and Population announced the provision of 32 million and 570 thousand and 800 free medical services during 21 days, since the third edition of the campaign “100 days of health”, which began on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in the framework of the improvement of health services provided to citizens in various parts of the Republic.
The campaign comes in implementation of the instructions of Dr. Khalid Abdul Ghafar, Deputy Prime Minister of Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, and emphasized the importance of promoting national health initiatives, and their role in improving the efficiency of the health system and achieving comprehensive health coverage.
Dr. Hussam Abdul Ghafar, the official spokesman of the Ministry of Health and Population, explained that the campaign provided 822,000 and 49 million free medical services on Monday, pointing out that the campaign provides services with the participation of 12 different sectors, where each sector had a complementary role in implementing the campaign and achieving its health and development goals, and according to this cooperation, the campaign provided 686,000 and 167 services from basic care sector.
“Abdel Ghafar” said that the campaign “100 days of health” provided 425 thousand and 630 services in the field of medical care, in addition to providing 128 thousand and 978 services in the presidential initiative for public health, as well as providing 61 thousand and 497 services in the preventive medicine sector.
“Abdel Ghafar” pointed out that the campaign provided 50,000 and 217 services through the units of the Public Authority for Hospitals and Educational Institutions, while the mental health support initiative “Sahtek Saadea” provided 10,000 and 803 services, and the campaign provided 222,000 and 87 services through the hospitals of the Public Authority for Health Insurance.
“Abdel Ghafar” added that the Ambulance Service provided 5,680 emergency services, while 104,512 services were provided by the specialized medical centers, and the specialized medical centers issued 11,282 treatment decisions at the expense of the state, in addition to performing 2,618 operations on the waiting list, while the hospital provided 12,825 services.
وتعب «عبدالغفار» that the «100 يوم الصحة» campaign provided health education and training services to 99,000 and 753 citizens, through community outreach groups spread in public areas, districts, and shopping centers (almolas) in various provinces, with the aim of raising health awareness and guiding citizens to take advantage of the services provided by the campaign, as well as organizing educational events and various awareness activities.
