Dr. Abd al-Sattar Shaout, Director of the General Administration of Zoos, Birds, and Animals in the Ministry, said that the efforts to improve the efficiency and cleanliness to welcome the public and facilitate their entry and movement inside the parks and to cancel the vacations of the workers and veterinarians during the Eid period, as the parks witness the reception of large numbers of citizens, in addition to coordination and cooperation with all relevant agencies in order to provide security and safety for visitors of all ages.
This is within the framework of the Minister of Agriculture’s authorization to provide all kinds of comfort to the citizens so that they enjoy spending time in the Ministry’s parks in the governorates, as well as the fish park in Cairo, referring to the existence of the Ministry of Agriculture’s zoos in the governorates of “Alexandria, Walfiyum, Bani Suif, Kafr El Sheikh, and Sharqiya”.
والجدير بالذكر أن علاء فاروق وزير الزراعة واستصلاح الأراضي كان قد قام بزيارة مفاجئة إلى حديقة الأسماك ووجه بضرورة الاهتمام بأعمال التطوير ونظافة الحديقة حتى تكون على استعداد تام لاستقبال المواطنين .
It should also be noted that the Ministry’s Central Department of Zoos and Wildlife recently held the largest exhibition and exchange of animals, birds and wild animals among regional zoos in the provinces.
And the ministry had previously announced the date of the trial opening of the zoo and the Orman next September in conjunction with Egypt’s hosting of the conference of African zoos.
