Sheikh Mahmoud Al-Abeidi, a preacher and one of the scholars of the Ministry of Endowments, said that at a time when economic crises are increasing and the living conditions of the citizens are increasing, the specter of self-interest is one of the most dangerous things that can be seen in the body of the community, and it destroys the values of justice and mercy in the death. In his appearance on the “Fasalwa” program on Al-Zahri channel, the hypocrite does not suffer only from guilt, but he is in an open war with the community and the parents, for sure, when the money is collected without blessing, it becomes a punishment for its owners before it harms others.
He pointed out that those who threaten the basic goods such as food and water, do not rely on the right of the poor and the sick, and the community security is threatened.
He highlighted historical figures who gave the best examples of generosity and mercy, such as the companion of al-Jalil, Othman bin عفان, who refused to hoard food in the time of Al-Majjaa, and offered to sell his goods to the poor at the price of the cost, saying: “I won it in the eyes of God”, as witnessed by the passing of news from the modern era, most notably Al-Hajj Mahmoud al-Arabi, who knew how to balance profit and piety, leaving behind him a legacy of love and respect.
