The head of the Health Authority is discussing with the Egyptian ambassador in Malawi the possibility of expanding bilateral cooperation

Dr. Ali al-Ghamrawi, President of the Egyptian Drug Authority, met with Ambassador Rasha Hamdi, the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Malawi, in the framework of the coordination of national efforts between the institutions of the Egyptian state to support and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries in the field of medicine and medicine.

During the meeting, Dr. Ali Al-Ghamrawi congratulated Ambassador Rasha Hamdi on her new position, wishing her all success and success in her diplomatic tasks, emphasizing the importance of the role played by Egyptian diplomatic missions in supporting institutional communication with African countries, and strengthening bilateral partnerships in vital areas, especially in the field of medicine.

He confirmed the commitment of the Egyptian medical authority to continue to provide technical and technical support and continuous coordination, which will contribute to raising the access rates of Egyptian medicine to the African markets, and strengthening the competitiveness of the national industry on the regional and international levels.

On its side, Ambassador Rasha Hamdi appreciated the effective role played by the Egyptian Drug Authority in supporting African integration in the drug sector, referring to the embassy’s eagerness to provide the necessary support to promote exchange opportunities and cooperation in the drug sector, which serves the interests of the country.

This meeting comes within the framework of the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Authority’s desire to strengthen regional partnerships, and activate cooperation with sister African countries, in line with national efforts to localize the pharmaceutical industry and increase Egypt’s presence in foreign markets.
