One Piece to Hold News Press Conference on October 28
On Sunday, October 26, the official X (formerly Twitter) account of One Piece @Eiichiro_Staff announced that they were set to hold a special news press conference on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
The news press conference will be streamed live on One Piece Official YouTube Channel from 9:45 PM Japan Time. Fans can set a reminder for the same on YouTube and stream it when it goes live.
As part of the news press conference, One Piece is set to deliver major information about the TV Anime and Netflix’s Live-Action series. The information will be delivered by TV Anime Producer Ryuuta Koike and the One Piece manga’s editor-in-chief, Hiroyuki Nakano.
What to Expect From the One Piece News Press Conference?
Not even the TV Anime announcement is concerned, the One Piece News Press Conference might reveal some new information about the anime’s schedule.
Fans might remember how the anime went on hiatus last year after the series was getting too close to the manga. Similarly, the anime could announce another hiatus. During this time, Toei Animation could again premiere a remaster for another story arc.
With the Punk Hazard Arc riddled with production issues, the anime could announce its remaster, followed by one for the Dressrosa Arc. Hopefully, this will solve the issues surrounding the initial production.
Another possibility, while very unlikely, is that the anime might finally announce an update regarding The One Piece TV Anime produced by WIT Studio. The anime has not announced a lot until now, and could possibly give fans a glimpse of what’s to come.
Nor for the One Piece Live-Action series, the franchise could finally release the Drum Island Arc poster and more exclusive still images. Otherwise, there is also a chance that the Netflix series might finally drop a full trailer for the second season and give fans a more concrete release window.
For now, fans can only hope that all information about to be delivered during the news press conference is positive. Fortunately, fans won’t have to wait for long to watch the live stream.
