The newspaper “South China Morning Post” revealed that an increasing number of women in China are using artificial intelligence to create videos and pictures of homeless men inside their homes to test the extent of their partner’s affection.
These women, who are active on social media platforms in China, said that they asked the artificial intelligence tools to capture real scenes of homeless people entering the hall, then sent these fabricated clips to their spouses or friends to see their reaction, so that some of them made stories in which they claimed that they sent homeless men to their house to provide food and shelter.
Many of these artificial intelligence-generated clips have been widely shared on the Internet, with some posts getting more than 400,000 likes, the South China Morning Post reported.

On October 17, the accident worsened in the eastern province of Anhui, China, beyond expectations.
The man thought that the video was real, so he informed the police immediately, and rushed to their destination, to find out that the alarming images were faked using artificial intelligence technology, and the woman was “exciting fear” and “using public resources”.

According to the Penal Code of the Public Security Administration in China, individuals who commit such acts may face up to 10 days in prison and a fine of 500 yuan (US$70).
The authorities also warned that if such clips, which were created by artificial intelligence, were published on a wide scale and caused public alarm, they would be classified as compiling false information, which is a crime punishable by up to five years in prison.
