The journalist Razwa al-Sharbini revealed the real reason behind the thinness of the young artist Hoda Al-Mufti, after the big controversy caused by her recent appearance at the Al-Junnah Film Festival, where the mufti faced a wave of intimidation due to her noticeable lack of weight, and her extremely thin appearance.

Al-Sharbini said during the episode of the television program, that the mufti did not lose weight for aesthetic reasons, as some thought, but as a result of a severe health problem she suffered in the past.

She explained that the artist was infected with the Corona virus, and her health worsened later to get a clot in the vein that caused a blockage in the intestines, which led to her suffering from gangrene, and the doctors had to remove part of her intestines to save her life, confirming that the artist recently recovered and passed the critical stage.

The young artist Hoda Al-Mufti recently appeared on the red carpet of the Al-Junnah Festival, where the public noticed her extreme figure, which sparked wide-ranging questions about social media.

And the artist was exposed to harsh comments and harsh criticism, especially after the release of clips of her, and she danced enthusiastically to the songs of the artist Nancy Ajram, to the activities of the Al-Junnah Cinema Festival, alongside stars Yusra, Ilham Shaheen, Noor and Ahmed Malik.

And some of the comments reached the point of exasperation, as some users wrote phrases such as “bad nutrition”, and others commented “It’s wrong to choose the view”, and it didn’t provoke the public’s esteem and the number of artists who called for the end of bullying against them.

Despite the health crisis she experienced, Hudaya Mufti is preparing to return to the artistic scene soon, through her participation in the film “Shams Al-Zanati 2”, along with the artist Muhammad İmam, written by Muhammad Al-Dabah and directed by Ahmed Khaled Musa, and it is scheduled to begin filming in the coming days.
