The artist Amal Maher, during her interview as a guest on the program “Aandi Saqal” with the journalist “Mohammed Qais” and broadcast on the channel “Al-Mashhad”, revealed for the first time the details of her marriage with the father of her daughter Omar, explaining that this marriage was voluntary due to her young age at the time, noting that her family strongly opposed her and her mother refused to attend the wedding, noting that she divorced at a young age, and worked on raising her daughters alone with her family.

وعن تربيبتها لنجلها عمر, I said: “Omar Ibni was a well-behaved child living in a family house, and I was against the idea of hitting my son, and I said that I could not hit him, and I broke the rules and hit him because my words did not go easily, and he was very tired of studying, and we did not change many schools, and we worked with him until he reached the stage where he entered the university in London.
Amal Maher explained that she feels respect for her daughter’s father, saying: “There were problems with Omar’s custody, but we did not agree and I did not have responsibility, because I have no respect for Omar’s father, because Omar is present, and it is a big thing for me.”
