It is important to mention that the Great Egyptian Museum is the largest museum in the world dedicated to one civilization “Ancient Egypt”, and it covers an area of ​​490 thousand m2, and includes a main entrance with an area of ​​about 7 thousand m2, like the example of King Ramses II, and it also includes more than 57 thousand artifacts that tell the history of Egypt through the ages, in addition to the great staircase that extends over an area of ​​about 6 thousand m2, with a height of 6 floors.

The museum also includes 12 main exhibition halls with an area of ​​about 18,000 m2, temporary exhibition rooms with an area of ​​about 1,700 m2, as well as rooms for displaying the possessions of King Tut Amun on an area of ​​approximately 7,500 m2, including more than 5,000 pieces of the king’s treasures on display for the first time, in addition to the children’s museum with an area of ​​about 5,000 m2, and the museum is expected to attract about 5 million visitors annually.
