Man dies days after Little Village shooting that wounded 2 others

Police were investigating a triple shooting in a Little Village parking lot over the weekend that left one man dead Monday morning.

It happened about 3 pm Saturday in the 3100 block of South St. Louis Avenue when someone in a car pulled up and an occupant fired shots hitting three men, Chicago police said.

An unidentified 35-year-old man was shot multiple times in the torso and was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital and was later pronounced dead, police said.

A 39-year-old man was shot in the back, and another man, 42, suffered gunshot wounds to the back, arms and hip, police said. Both were listed in fair condition at Mount Sinai Hospital.

No arrests were reported.
