Ice-T is standing by his secret to a happy marriage.
More than one year after revealing “jungle sex” is what has kept his and Coco Austin‘s bond so strong during their 23-year marriage, he reaffirmed the meaning behind the spicy piece of advice—and revealed exactly where he got it from.
“I actually heard an 86-year-old man say that and I stole it,” Ice-T revealed to E! News at Heidi Klum‘s Halloween Party at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York City Oct. 31. “I said, ‘That’s kind of what it is.’ I think you just got to stay in love. How simple is that?”
For Coco, who dressed as Chucky opposite the Law and Order: SVU star’s Squid Games-meets-serial killer ensemble for the spooky night out, the tried-and-true secrets to marriage are there for a reason.
“Gotta listen to each other, and I know you’ve heard it before: You do have to converse,” she emphasized. “You do have to have conversations over and over and over again. You can’t get used to each other.”
