The competition started with 14 couples, and there are now eight left.
Dancing With The Stars season 34 has already said goodbye to six couples, including Baron Davis and Britt Stewart, Corey Feldman and Jenna Johnson, Lauren Jauregui and Brandon Armstrong, Hilaria Baldwin and Gleb Savchenko, Scott Hoying and Rylee Arnold, and Jen Affleck and Jan Ravnik. So far, the stars have competed on One Hit Wonders, TikTok, Disney, Dedication, Wickedand Halloween theme nights.
Dancing With The Stars Team Dances Return With A Twist & An Iconic Live Performance
According to an ABC press release, the Dancing With The Stars fan-favorite team dance competition will return on Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night with a twist, as co-hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro will each join one of the teams.
Julianne will compete with Team Kool, which consists of team captain Andy Richter and Emma Slater, Robert Irwin and Witney Carson, Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten. They’ll dance to a live performance of “Celebration” by Kool & the Gang.
Alfonso will compete with Team Chicago, which features team captain Danielle Fishel and Pasha Pashkov, Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas, Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa, and Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach. They’ll perform to a live performance of “25 or 6 to 4” by Chicago.
A Guest Judge Joins The Panel & Fan-Favorite Choreographers Return
Dancing With The Stars season 34 will welcome guest judge Flavor Flav, who’ll join Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli on the judging panel. The night will begin with an opening number to “Pour Some Sugar On Me” by Def Leppard and “Fight The Power” by Public Enemy, which will be choreographed by eliminated Dancing With The Stars professional dancer Britt Stewart.
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night will also include a tour number to “Hey Ya!” by Outkast, choreographed by Mandy Moore. It will also feature a troupe dance to “Higher Ground” by Stevie Wonder.
The Dancing With The Stars Season 34 Couples Will Dance To Iconic Rock Songs
The Dancing With The Stars season 34 couples will rock the dancefloor on Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night with performances to iconic rock songs. Three couples will perform a Paso Doble, including Alix and Val (“Livin’ On a Prayer” by Bon Jovi), Robert and Witney (“Icky Thump” by The White Stripes), and Whitney and Mark (“No More Tears” by Ozzy Osbourne).
Two couples will perform Contemporary dances, including Andy and Emma (“God Only Knows” by The Beach Boys) and Danielle and Pasha (“Dream On” by Aerosmith).
In addition, Dylan and Daniella will dance a Jive to “I’m Still Standing” by Elton John, while Elaine and Alan will dance a Viennese Waltz to “What the World Needs Now Is Love” by Dionne Warwick, while Jordan and Ezra will perform a Jazz to “River Deep – Mountain High” by Ike & Tina Turner.
Dancing With The Stars season 34 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night is going to blow the roof off of the ballroom as the stars take on rock classics. The return of the team dances will be thrilling, especially because Julianne and Alfonso are joining the teams. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night will be a spectacular celebration of all things rock.
Dancing With The Stars airs Tuesdays at 8 pm EDT on ABC.
