افادت وسلام عمريسية بن نجم الهيب ورجل اكمامة شون “بي ديدي” كومز was officially sent to the Fort Dix federal prison in New Jersey, to serve a four-year prison term, after being charged with transporting people between the states for prostitution.
The prison is located about 130 kilometers south of New York from institutions with limited security measures, and includes programs specialized in addiction treatment and rehabilitation, which led the defense team to request a transfer to it to improve the conditions of detention compared to the prison.
According to the American Federal Prosecutor’s Office, “Deedy” is expected to remain in custody until May 8, 2028. He was sentenced in July 2025 after the trial lasted several months, while the jury acquitted him of the most serious charges, including human trafficking and kidnapping.
During the speech session, the 55-year-old singer began to be affected, saying that he apologized to his family and victims, saying that his behavior was “moqzz” and expressed his deep regret.
Al-Qadi pointed out that the ruling takes into consideration the period that “Bidi Deidi” previously spent in the federal prison in Brooklyn since his sentence in September 2024, while the defense team formally appealed the ruling, without issuing a new comment from the media representatives until now.
