At the behest of the President Abdel-Alftah Al-Sisi, the President of the Republic, the Deputy Prime Minister, and Dr. Khaled Abdel-Gaghfar, the Minister of Health and Population, visited Hassan Shahata, the former technical director of the Egyptian National Team, to reassure him about his health condition after his recent illness.
During the visit that took place in one of the hospitals in Cairo, the delegation conveyed the greetings and wishes of President Al-Sisi to Captain Hassan Shahata, confirming that the country is paying great attention to its sports equipment that contributed to raising the name of Egypt to excellence in international competitions.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health applauded the great progress made by Captain Hassan Shahata in the service of Egyptian football, both as a player and as a coach, noting that his history and contributions should not be forgotten, especially his leadership of the national team to achieve three consecutive championships in the African Cup of Nations.
