EXCLUSIVE: Caleb Hearon is set to co-star alongside Zooey Deschanel in the upcoming comedy Trash Mountain. Kyle Marvin and Jaboukie Young-White will also star.
Trash Mountain follows a young gay man (Hearon) living in Chicago who returns to his hometown in Missouri following the death of his hoarder father. The film will be directed by Kris Rey.
Trash Mountain is written by Hearon and Ruby Caster. Principal photography begins in Chicago this week. Trevorrow will produce the film through his Metronome banner, which most recently released the critically acclaimed action-comedy Deep Cover.
Lilly Wachowski will executive produce. Julie Lebedev and Eddie Vaisman will also executive produce for Sight Unseen. Carrie Holt De Lama will exec produce alongside Zachary Spicer. Rebecca Linfoot will oversee Metronome. Chris Cafero will EP for Five Sticks Productions, and Scott Golstein will EP for Streeterville Productions.
