Engineer Sharif Al-Sharbini, the Minister of Housing, Facilities and Urban Communities, began an inspection tour to follow up the projects on the North West Coast, and began by inspecting the ongoing works on roads, utilities and electricity to cut alternative land in the New Ras Al-Hakkema area, accompanied by the officials of the Ministry, and the New Urban Communities Authority.
The Minister of Housing, and his companions, toured the works being carried out, and listened to the explanation of the executive position of the various works from the engineer Walid Abd al-Rahman Hajjaji, head of the New Ras Al-Hakmah City Development Agency, where he explained that the new Urban Communities Authority, represented by the New Ras Al-Hakmah City Council, is in charge of the implementation of infrastructure and road works for the alternative lands in the “Shams Al-Hakmah” area, and the alternative land plots in the area south of the high-speed train project, which are allocated to the residents of the Ras Al-Hakmah city, including The alternative region according to the plan includes residential, service, and commercial activities, as well as the main road network.
Engineer Sharif Al-Sharbini stressed the need to speed up the implementation of road works and facilities in the Shams al-Hakma region, and to increase the number of workers and equipment, confirming the interest of the Egyptian state in providing services to the people of the region, and providing them with a decent life in the civilized communities.
It should be noted that the project of design and implementation of roads and networks in the area of Shams Al-Hakma includes networks (water – fire – water – sanitary – air), and the first stage of the treatment plant for alternative land plots in the area of Shams Al-Hakma with an area of 1800 acres, as it is currently being implemented for a pilot school in the area.
As inspected by the Minister of Housing and its attendants, the electricity works in the alternative housing area south of the high-speed train project for those who live in Abu Dhabi, where the medium cable route was dug about 500 meters long, out of a total of 10 km, and 430 meters of the original 500 meters were installed.
