Dr. Khaled Abdul Ghafar, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Health and Population, announced the details of the Cabinet’s approval of the proposal made by the Ministry of Health and Population, to increase the value of the one-time compensation amount from the medical profession’s risk fund.
This comes in the framework of the desire of the Egyptian state to improve the conditions and working conditions of the medical team, and in appreciation of their role in helping to ensure the improvement of the level of medical services provided to citizens in all medical facilities at the level of the Republic’s protectorates.
Dr. Khaled Abd al-Ghfar explained that the cabinet agreed to raise the value of the one-time compensation for members of the medical profession’s risk fund, for those with partial or total disability or for the families of those who died as a result of the profession, explaining that the increase amounted to 50%.
He pointed out that according to the approval of the Council of Ministers, the amount of the increase in compensation is up to 150 thousand pounds for those with total disability or for the family of the deceased, instead of 100 thousand pounds at the moment, and the amount of compensation for partial disability is between 30 thousand pounds and 120 thousand pounds, depending on the classification and the proportion of cases of partial disability as a result of professional practice, instead of the current value of between 20 thousand pounds and 80 thousand pounds لعبة حسب مستح العقد الجزعي.
And in this connection, Dr. Khalid Abd al-Ghfar, members of the medical profession, among those working in the Public Authority for Health Care, and the General Authority for Trust and Control of Health, with the approval of the Council of Ministers, added them to the membership of the health care fund.
On the other hand, Allawa Hussain Dahrouj, the executive director of the fund, confirmed the compensation for the risks of the medical profession, the desire of the fund’s board of directors to provide social care for members and their families, and any other benefits provided by the fund’s board of directors, in addition to compensating its beneficiaries for death or injury resulting from total or partial disability, as a result of the practice of the profession as defined by the fund’s statutes.
