The Ministry of Health and Population announced the provision of 28 million and 901 thousand and 66 free medical services during 19 days, since the start of the third edition of the “100 Day Health” campaign, which began on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in the framework of the improvement of health services provided to citizens in various parts of the Republic.
The campaign comes in implementation of the instructions of Dr. Khaled Abdul Ghafar, Deputy Prime Minister of Human Development, Minister of Health and Population, and emphasizes the importance of promoting national health initiatives, and their role in improving the efficiency of the health system and achieving comprehensive health coverage.
Dr. Hussam Abdul Ghafar, the official spokesman of the Ministry of Health and Population, explained that the campaign provided 1 million and 987 thousand and 244 free medical services on Saturday, pointing out that the campaign provides services with the participation of 12 different sectors, where each sector had a complementary role in implementing the campaign and achieving its health and development goals, and according to this cooperation, the campaign provided 730 thousand and 540 services through basic care sector.
“Abdel Ghafar” said that the campaign “100 days of health” provided 421 thousand and 556 services in the field of medical care, in addition to providing 116 thousand and 538 services in the presidential initiative for public health, as well as providing 81 thousand and 309 services in the preventive medicine sector.
“Abdel Ghafar” pointed out that the campaign provided 47,000 and 233 services from the units of the General Authority for Hospitals and Educational Institutions, while the mental health support initiative “Sahtak Saadea” provided 6,000 and 603 services, and the campaign provided 323,000 and 524 services from the hospitals of the General Authority for Health Insurance.
“Abdel Ghafar” added that the ambulance service provided 5 thousand and 789 emergency services, while 106 thousand and 556 services were provided through the hospitals of the specialized medical centers, and the specialized medical councils issued 50 thousand and 704 treatment decisions at the expense of the state, in addition to performing 2 thousand and 963 operations on the waiting list, while the hospitals of the medical institution provided 11 thousand and 878 services.
وتعب «عبدالغفار» that the «100 يوم الصحة» campaign provided health education and training services to 82,000 and 51 citizens, through the community communication team spread in public areas, districts, and commercial centers (almolas) in various governorates, with the aim of raising health awareness and guiding citizens to benefit from the services provided by the campaign, as well as organizing educational events and various awareness activities.
