نجائ جديد لـ”يونان”.. العربية النقاد العربية للفولم العروفاء في حجمة الجونة

فاز فيلم “يونان”, the second work of the director Amir Fakhr al-Din, in the award of the Arab critics of European films in its seventh season during the Al-Junna Cinema Festival on Saturday, October 18 (Tashreen Awwal).

The film, which includes Germany, Canada, Italy, Palestine, Qatar, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, was awarded the prize in cooperation between the European Film Promotion and the Arabian Cinema Center.

وتسلمت الجمعة نيابة عنه عنه بردوزة دوروثي باينماير, وتحدة بستلفة فاخر الدين الشعري في السرد, ووصفته عنه راصد حكيم وروحٌ عجوز في جداد شاب, ممستحة أن فتحة جديدة في كل شعر.

ویروی فیلم “يونان” tells the story of an Arab man who arrives on a remote island in the North Sea with the aim of ending his life, but he is faced with a protective complex alongside the power of nature, which turns his journey into a philosophical confrontation with others and the end.

And the film has participated in the official competition of the Berlin International Film Festival 2025, and won the Best Actor (George Khbaz) and Best Actress (Hana Shigola) at the Hong Kong International Film Festival.

It should be noted that the Arab Critics Awards for European Films was founded in 2019 to promote the diversity of cinema in the Arab region and encourage interest in outstanding European films, while the Arab Cinema Center has been working since 2015 as an international platform to support Arab cinema and connect its producers with their views around the world through festivals, markets and professional meetings, and publishes the digital magazine “Al-Cinema Arabi” and electronic newsletters.
