Discover the selection of 40 film and television projects in the Red Sea Market for 2025, to discover talents and support joint productions from the Arab world, Asia and Africa.

As for the rest of the projects, you won’t have the chance to get specialized training in project presentation, under the supervision of the producer Ana Katschko, the script consultant David Bob, and the sales representative Gabor Ghrayner. The final list also includes eight feature films in the post-production stage, as well as eight drama series projects being developed by the series studio, including the Red Sea studio, in partnership with Film Independent, which reflects the continuous expansion of the project market as a platform for audiovisual production of various types.
After the opening of the chapter in 2024 for the first time in front of the film industry from the continent of Asia, the current cycle saw a 35% increase in projects coming from the continent. كما تشهد الكريسة هذا العام المشاركة 18 محقرً باعمالهم توليفة علوى, while women represent more than 42% of the total selected projects.
The course will also witness the return of a number of former market graduates to present new projects, among them Arfin Blarmino and Sam Sharif and Kholikov, who previously presented their works at the Red Sea International Film Festival, in continuation of the festival’s commitment to support and care for cinema talents at various stages of their creative career.
This year, the market received more than 1900 participation requests from filmmakers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arab world, Asia and Africa, all of which were reviewed by a specialized international selection committee. And the selected projects will receive intensive guidance and training programs before the market, in order to be able to present competitive offers in front of industry and financial partners during the festival’s activities in December next year.
For her part, Holly Danyal, manager of Al Bahr al-Ahmar Market, said: “The project market is a pivotal part of the Al Bahr al-Ahmar cinema system, as it forms a vital platform that gathers new voices and allows it to cooperate in the development of projects and innovative ideas. We are celebrating five years since the launch of this program to confirm the expansion of the market and its impact, as we welcome the return of the previous producers through new works this year. وتميّز the selected projects with their creativity and technical strength, which opens up wide horizons for development, and we look forward to connecting them with new partners from the film industry during the fifth session of the festival in December next year.”

Al-Bahr al-Ahmar International Cinema Festival
حتفي الحجمة البحر الأحمر الدوليلية بعرض العربية العالمية كينامة في مدينة Jeddah; bride of the red sea The film program for the festival includes various categories and sections of films from all over the world, starting from the treasures of the Al-Dfina cinema, equipped with the latest screening techniques, and ending with the films of the most promising talents. The festival also hosts a selection of artistic talents and film makers and industry professionals from the Arab world and the rest of the world through its platform, along with many film competitions in the long and short categories, including concerts, and hosting many seminars and workshops aimed at supporting, developing and encouraging emerging talents.
