Today, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi met with Dr. Mustafa Madbouli, Prime Minister, and Sharif Fathi, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, and Muhammad Al-Saadi, Member of the Board of Directors of the United Company for Media Services and General Manager of the Opening Ceremony of the Great Egyptian Museum.
The official spokesperson of the Presidency stated that the President will follow during the meeting the ongoing preparations for the organization of the great celebration that will be held on the occasion of the opening of the Great Egyptian Museum, scheduled for the first of November next, where the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities presented the procedures and preparations that are carried out in coordination between the various ministries and parties concerned, including the logistical aspects and the proposed sections of the events, as well as the related organizational arrangements.
Ambassador Muhammad Al-Shanawi, the official spokesman, explained that Mr. President stressed the importance of continued cooperation and coordination between the concerned parties to ensure the organization of the opening ceremony, which is suitable for Egypt, and reflects its efforts in the field of tourism and international culture, and contributes to the promotion of tourism in the country.
