A man was hospitalized after being shot Tuesday afternoon in Humboldt Park, according to Chicago police.
The man, 38, was in the 1000 block of North Lawndale Avenue at 2:30 pm, when a man approached him and fired shots, police said. The man was shot five times and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition.
No one is in custody.
