The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization received during the past days a number of prominent international figures and official food, as part of the period of civilization and culture, as prominent Egyptian visitors from around the world.
Among the guests was Mrs. Kandia Kamsioko, as the President of the Senate of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, where she was welcomed by Dr. Al-Tayeb Abbas, the executive director of the museum, who took her on a tour that included the various exhibition halls, including the royal museum hall.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire expressed her great admiration for the museum’s collection of rare archaeological treasures representing the Egyptian civilisation, and praised the presentation style of the modern museum, which highlights Egyptian history in a style that combines modernity and authenticity.
And in the meantime, the museum accepted a number of official guests participating in the fourth ministerial meeting of the ministers of tourism in the member countries of the Islamic Organization of Economic Cooperation (D-8), which was hosted and chaired by Egypt during the period from May 2024 to December 2025.
وشملت الزيارات روس جاليشندرا, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, at the head of a high-ranking delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, where they were welcomed by Dr. Al-Tyeb Abbas, and they were introduced to the most prominent archaeological collections during the tour inside the museum.
Mr. Fayrooz Fikri, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Museum for Management and Operations, as well as Mr. Hudzifa Rahman, Minister of State for Culture in the Republic of Pakistan, and Mr. Mohammad Farhad Al-Islam, Director General of the Department of International Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, where they learned about the museum’s components and its various rooms, and expressed their great admiration for what they saw of rare possessions and advanced display technologies.
Dr. Al-Tyeb Abbas, during these visits, confirmed that the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization continues to fulfill its global mission in preserving and displaying Egyptian heritage in a scientific and modern manner, not to mention that the museum represents the cultural and civilizational face of Egypt, reflecting its historical status and cultural heritage.
And at the end of their journey, the guests expressed their appreciation for the reception, and they were impressed by what they saw from the culture of Egypt, reflecting the greatness of Egypt and its prestige on the international arena.
