The artist Karim Fahmi broke his silence to respond to the news that was published during the past hours, on social media and a number of news platforms, claiming that he and his wife, Dania Al-Bannawi, were kicked out of the “International Film Festival” in its eighth year, which ended last Friday.
Al-Akhbar pointed out that Kareem Hazra did not attend the official invitation, and that the conflict between him and the al-Qaimin on the organization of the event led to the exclusion of the festival.
And in his first response to those news, he rejected all that was reported, confirming that it was news aimed at defaming his reputation and denying him success, as he said in press statements: “Everything that is said is not true, there are those who seek to promote lies, but I am confident that the truth will appear soon without the need to speak, so the justice of God is sufficient, and the love of the public is the greatest proof.”
And the news confirmed that the dispute between Karim and the festival management started during a side party during the festival’s activities, as the organizer had difficulty dealing with the company responsible for the artist’s presence, which led to a misunderstanding that was later amplified on social networking sites.

Kareem Fahmi was not previously discussed on social media and some news platforms regarding his apology for the series’ lead, confirming that what he says is not related to the truth, adding: “Honestly, I don’t know what people are saying about me! I and Jasmine are very good friends, and I love her on a technical and personal level, and I hope to work with her for the first time and ten times, and it’s not enough for us to hit it off.” إننا نشتغل مع بعد لو لاقينا مرحجوه حلو جامعنا”.
He added that he welcomes any future cooperation with Yasmine Abdel Aziz, pointing out that he has great respect for her and considers her one of the most successful stars in the Arab world.
