The police force in Japan announced the state of security in the capital (Turkiye) in preparation for the reception of the American president Donald Trump, who will visit the country today and for three days.
The Japanese Broadcasting Corporation said that this is Trump’s first visit to Japan since 2019, during which he is scheduled to meet with Emperor Naruhito and hold his first summit with Prime Minister Sanai Takaichi.
About 18,000 officers were mobilized throughout the capital of Tokyo, and police dogs were deployed to detect explosives in the vicinity of the American embassy, and to investigate any potential threats.
The police urged the citizens to communicate with the security forces.
And American President Donald Trump met his Brazilian counterpart Luis Inacio Lola da Silva at the South East Asian Countries Summit, according to a statement from the White House.
Trump said during the meeting: “It’s an honor to be with the president of Brazil… I think we won’t be able to make good deals for all countries… As long as our relationship is good, I think it will continue.”
American President Donald Trump has confirmed that he will consider reducing customs duties on Brazil under the appropriate circumstances.
