The Beekeeper 2 Set Photos Reveal First Look At Jason Statham

The Beekeeper 2 set photos reveal a first look at Jason Statham’s return as Adam Clay, filming continuing on the upcoming action thriller film. The Beekeeper 2‘s story will see Statham’s Adam return in a new adventure, with many other actors reprising their roles from the original. The sequel is directed by Timo Tjahjanto and written by Umair Aleem.

Now, UnBoxPHD has posted behind-the-scenes photos from The Beekeeper 2 to X, showcasing a first look at Statham’s return to the franchise. The images also reveal a first look at Emmy Raver-Lampman, who returns as Verona Parker, alongside Yara Shahidi, who is arriving as a new character. The images show the actors standing in the middle of the street.

In the first image, Statham and Raver-Lampman are shown side-by-side. Statham sports an appropriately yellow raincoat, while Raver-Lampman carries a pistol. The second image sees the latter still holding her weapon, while the franchise star sports a larger gun with a scope. A single image of Shahidi sees her walking in a crowd, but does not offer any additional details.

The Beekeeper ended with Adam killing Derek Danforth, finishing his mission in avenging Eloise Parker, his friend who took her own life after getting scammed by people connected to the President’s son. He had one final stand-off with Verona before she allowed him to flee, using diving gear to escape into the ocean. However, his story is no longer over.

Given how the original film ended, Adam would no doubt be one of the most wanted men in America, despite Derek’s crimes. However, the images of him and Verona seemingly working together tell a different story. With the plot of The Beekeeper 2 currently under wraps, there’s no way of knowing how the pair wind up together again.

Other returning characters from The Beekeeper will include Bobby Naderi as FBI Agent Matt Wiley, Jemma Redgrave as President Jessica Danforth, and Jeremy Irons as Danforth Enterprises head of security Wallace Westwyld. Alongside Shahidi, other newcomers include Pom Klementieff and Adam Copeland, although their roles haven’t been revealed yet.

Although the images are but a quick preview of The Beekeeper 2they offer an intriguing look into how the upcoming film is going to transpire. With Adam seemingly working with the FBI, or at least with Verona, the shift in dynamics is going to play a key role in how the events of the sequel happen.
