ALFA ROMEO was present at the Paris International Motor Show in the presence of its full line-up, which has become very diverse during the recent period, and it took the opportunity to present the IBRIDA hybrid version for the first time in front of the public from its new crossover, Junior, the smallest car at the level of its line-up at the moment.
Alfa Romeo had revealed the Junior in April last year, where it was presented in a fully electric version, and now the Junior will be launched in a new hybrid version, sharing components with some of the other models of the Stellar range, but with special additions from Alfa Romeo.


Alfa Romeo Junior IBRIDA is based on a 1200 cc three-cylinder turbocharged VGT engine and a 28-horsepower electric unit with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission with a power of 136 hp.The system also includes a small 48-volt battery that allows electric driving only for 50% of the vehicle inside the city at a maximum speed of 150 km/s. Unlike other models of the group, Alfa Romeo offers the option of ordering the Junior Hybrid with the all-wheel drive system Q4.


The Junior IBRIDA appeared at the exhibition in black color and at the back it got a dual exhaust outlet as well as 18-inch dual color wheels and its equipment includes a smart key with a distance sensor to open and close the doors automatically, an electric door for the trunk and a rear camera. And its sporty feel, it shows Alfa Romeo’s commitment to dynamic performance in weight, where lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 54 kilowatts/hour are used to weigh the car at 1590 kilograms, which is about 200 kilograms less than the competitors.


Alfa Romeo launched the Junior IBRIDA and ELLETRICA in Europe in the last few months, and then launched a version of the FILUCHI, which is expected to start arriving in the showrooms of the European brand in the next few months.
