The minister confirmed that the success achieved recently in the education sector is the result of the sincere efforts of the teachers, the managers of the departments, and the educational managers, because of the actions they took and the dedication to confronting the challenges.

The minister added that chronic problems of accumulation have been faced over the course of more than 30 years, such as the shortage of teachers, and the increase in the number of students in the classes, and the efforts and efforts of the teachers succeeded in reducing the severity of these challenges and achieving important steps on the road to reform.

In this context, Mr. Minister Muhammad Abd al-Latif announced the attention of the ministry to the establishment of a central quality management unit in each educational directorate, made up of educational staff who are on the payroll of the directors of the directorates, administrations, and schools, because they have extensive and influential knowledge in the field of education.
The minister explained that each educational department will form this unit according to its size, to include about 10 specialized personnel, whose task will be to evaluate the educational performance in the schools according to clear criteria, through field visits included, to analyze the situation of each school and determine the strengths and needs, and send the results to the ministry, and the ministry will prepare an action plan based on this assessment, in addition to providing the educational directorates with detailed reports on the needs of each school, to ensure quality improvement on the basis علمية وعمالية.
And for preparing for the exams at the end of the year, the Minister of Education stressed the importance of making the best efforts to ensure that the exams are conducted in an orderly and private manner, stressing the need to fully comply with all procedures and strict measures to ensure the safety of the exam process, stressing not allowing the existence or use of any means or methods that may help cheating; to ensure the success of the exams and to achieve the principle of justice and transparency in the assessment of students.
He explained that there are strict security measures that will be taken to ensure that public high school exams are conducted successfully and in an orderly manner, while using all the available possibilities to pass the exams in a good way that matches the educational process and achieves the principle of justice and integrity, far from any opposition or false attempts.
And regarding the preparatory certificate exams, Mr. Minister Muhammad Abd al-Latif pointed out that the end-of-year exams for the preparatory certificate will be held in a large number of provinces, using the “booklet” system due to its great importance, explaining that the reliability of the “booklet” system aims to limit the chances of cheating, and achieve justice among students, while guaranteeing the quality and accuracy of the correction process.
And the minister directed the speedy preparation and printing of exams with the “booklet” system in the governorates that will apply this system, confirming the ministry’s commitment to providing all forms of technical support to the educational directorates, to ensure that the exams are conducted in an orderly and successful manner, and to promote the principle of integrity and transparency in the exam process.
And in relation to the educational curriculum, the minister explained that there is development for the content of the educational courses for the Arabic language, religious education, and social studies, based on the feedback from the field, and for the general framework of the curriculum.
The minister pointed out that the ministry aims to address the reading and writing weaknesses of some students, adding that programs for the development of reading and writing skills will be implemented during the summer period to improve the students’ skills, stressing the need to carry out the process of correcting the exams transparently and fairly, with the aim of determining the real level of the students, knowing the areas of their weakness, and working on their treatment during the summer vacation period, in order to enable the students to absorb the curriculum correctly and constructively.
In this context, the minister emphasized the need to pay attention to the health aspects of students, as the state of health directly affects their ability to understand and study, referring to the results of the implementation of the presidential initiative to examine and treat eye problems for elementary school students in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, and to treat them by providing them with glasses to enhance their visual abilities and improve their academic performance, citing the need to educate parents about the importance of taking care of their children’s health, and encouraging the early detection of any health problems that may affect education. الدراسي, with the aim of building a healthy school environment supports the process of education and learning actively and sustainably.
And Mr. Minister Muhammad Abd al-Latif praised the successful experience of the educational directorate in al-Fyoum governorate for the successful experience of providing hot school meals in schools by providing useful meals that help in the healthy and healthy structure of students in designated places and prepared for that, noting that the experience will be generalized and transferred to schools in other governorates, instructing the directors of the directorates to follow up on the implementation of this food system in schools where this service is available starting from the next academic year.
The Minister of Education emphasized the need to continue paying any outstanding financial dues to the teachers of the class, as well as instead of monitoring the exams, instructing the directors of the educational directorates and general managers to quickly remove the obstacles in front of the payment of these dues, pointing out that the ministry is doing its best to remove any obstacles in this matter.
During the meeting, the minister called on the need for educational managers to finish the work of opening the seasons and relocating the schools, confirming that landscaping plays an important role in providing a healthy environment for students, by providing shade, reducing temperatures and producing pure oxygen, pointing out that caring for the cultivation of trees inside schools is one of the basic requirements for ensuring the quality of the educational process and creating an attractive and safe school environment, and providing them with a healthy environment that encourages creativity and healthy growth.
The Minister also emphasized the necessity of meeting all the necessary needs of the school board for each school, and ensuring that it is well maintained, in coordination with the General Authority for Educational Buildings, before the beginning of the next school year, stressing the importance of fully equipping the schools to ensure an appropriate educational environment.
