The General Authority for Construction and Housing Cooperation, one of the branches of the Ministry of Housing, Facilities and Urban Communities, opened the reservation for 253 housing units in different locations with the Authority’s projects: the New Cairo Pearl – the October Pearl – the Badr Pearl – the 10th of Ramadan – the 10th of Ramadan neighborhood (60 – 62 – 64), and on May 15, the neighborhood “31”, and the governorate of Al Suwis (legislative buildings of Madinat Al Amal), with different areas.
The authority explained that the units are open and ready for delivery upon completion of the procedures and payment, and all the conditions and specifications and financial amounts can be found out by obtaining the completeness of the conditions and specifications valid from Monday 1/12/2025, until Thursday 25/12/2025.

Separately, the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities announced the winner of the project to treat sewage generated from the sewage treatment plant in Eastern Baltnaqiya in the Governorate of Alexandria and convert it into energy, with the “Emirates Energy Award”, which is awarded by the Supreme Council of Energy of the United Arab Emirates once every two years, in recognition of Egypt’s efforts in implementing the latest environmental and technological systems in converting sewage into sustainable energy.
The project is one of the leading models implemented by the executive body for drinking water and sanitation as part of the state’s plan to transform to a green economy, and to achieve environmental sustainability and clean energy, in line with Egypt’s 2030 vision.
Engineer Sharif Al-Sharbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, said that the Eastern Wastewater Treatment Plant was established in Alexandria in 1993 with a capacity of 200 thousand m³/day with the primary treatment system, then it was developed in 2003 to reach 407 thousand m³/day, and expanded in 2014 to reach 800 thousand m³/day with secondary treatment, and in 2022 the sewage treatment project was implemented and converted into energy In cooperation with the association of the company “Swiez” and “Al Arab Contractors”, the station will have a total capacity of 800 thousand m³/day and serve more than 4 million people in the areas east of Alexandria.
