The General Assembly of the Union of Medical Professions rejected the approval of the 2020/2021 budget during its last meeting, and Dr. Asama Abd al-Hay, President of the Union, the head of the medical profession, said that the objections presented by the members will be re-examined, in preparation for their presentation again for discussion and voting at the next General Assembly.
And in a move that supports the members of the Union among the pensioners, the General Assembly agreed to increase the value of the pensions up to 2000 pounds per month, as of October 1, 2025, as part of the Union’s desire to improve the living conditions of its members and provide more social and financial support.
