The eighth session of the Al-Junnah International Film Festival began on Thursday, October 16, 2025, in the city of Al-Junnah. Egypt, under the slogan “Sinema of the Humanity”, between the technical presence of Lafat and the extensive participation of cinema stars in Egypt and the Arab world.
وتقدّم نجوم مصريون وعرب للسجادة الحررامة, من بنهم: يوسرا, وليلي العلوي, ونيللي كريم, ويلهم شاهين, ولبلبة, وشيرين رضا, وبشرى, ودرة, وحالة صدقي, وعبير سبري, واشرف زكي وروجينا, وشريف منير, وطه دسوقي, ومحمود العسيلي.
كما شارك أشرف عبدالباقي, إلى حسين فاحمي, ومحمود حميدة, وماجد المصري, وطه الدسوقي, وخالد سليم وزوجته, باست تارا عماد وسبا مبارك, وحدى المفتي, ومحمد فراج, وكريم Fahmi, وامينة خليل, واحمد مالك, واسماع Jalal.
He also shared a number of notable media personalities at the event, most notably لميس الحديدي, بوسي شلبي, وخالد ابو بكر, وانس بوخش.
And the ceremony was witnessed by a number of Arab and foreign guests, among them the Palestinian actor Kamel Al-Basha and the Lebanese actor. Nikoola Maoud, the Lebanese actress Maya Dayab, as well as the Turkish actor Sirkan Oglu.
And the red carpet witnessed a festive atmosphere with a group of artists and filmmakers, while the “Al Nahar” channel broadcast the activities. The concert will be broadcast directly from Egypt, and will be broadcast live on Facebook and Instagram.
ويشارك في المحاجنة هذا العمين 70 فيلماً عربياً وعالمياً تبين الروائي والدوكتي وقصير الرؤى كينامائية التي هتفي بها المحازنة منذ تحميله.
special honors and awards
ويكـرّم الحماءنة عنة منة شلبي بـ الإنجاء الإناثيا عتدياً لمسيرة الحفلة وشاهامة في كينام العربية. كما تحل النجمة العلمانية كيت بلانشيت ديفة شرف المحاجنة, هد تُُرَّم بجازة “بطلة الحمينة” عن حادة في في صفحة Refugees as the Ambassador of the Holy Spirit to the United Nations, and participates in a discussion session as part of the program “Seiny Joonah”.
The festival management chose the Egyptian film “Eid Milad Saeed” by director Sarah Johar as the opening film, after winning three awards in 2025 Film Festival.
ويشارك في بتولته نيلي كريم, هنان المطاوع, والطفلة دحى رمضان, ويترح المعلم حكاية يستانية لفتا كيكة عديه اسرة ثرية, تعركة عن الفرح وست قسوة الوقع The film is written by Sarah Johar and Mohamed Diab, and is a joint Egyptian-American production featuring the world star Jamie Foxx.
The festival program includes a series of seminars and specialized meetings in the fields of writing, directing and making short films in collaboration with The Netflix platform, along with the episodes, features prominent actors such as Sharif عرفة.
كما يُقام معرون خاص حتفاً بـ سـلـــــ يوسف شاهین, واخری لفنانة يوسرا لــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــرــــــــــــر themselves movie theater.
13 feature films and 12 documentaries compete in the festival, along with the short film competition, with prizes “نجمة الجونة” gold and silver and bronze, and the best Arabic film and the best acting performance.
