Dr. Salama Daoud, the president of Al-Azhar University, confirmed that the duty of seeking the good and the dead is among the great signs of God. It must be performed by Al-Hajj or Al-Mu’tamar, and it is clearly stated in the Qur’an: فمن حجج البيت و عيتمر فلا جنها عليه أن يتوف بهما, ومن تووف خيرًا فان الله شاكر عليم”.
The president of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif University added, during the episode of the program “Blagaha Al-Qur’an and Sunnah”, that this holy verse was spoken in the context of Hadith. The version in the Qur’an, as it was preceded by the verses, talks about changing the rulings according to divine wisdom, including the issue of changing the Qibla from the mosque. Al-Aqsa to the Holy Kaaba, فبعد أن قبلة الموسلمين في بيدايا اليسلام إلى بيت المقدس, قاعد العمر الهي بتحويلها إلى الكعبة, في قوله تعالى: “قد عرض المعلومة وجهك في السماعة فلنولينك قِبلة ترضاها, فولِّ وجهك شطر المسجد الحرام”.
The president of Al-Azhar University explained that the revolt that some of the early Muslims felt in the pursuit of life and death was due to the existence of the sun. عليهما في الجاهلية (أساف ونيلة), فضون عن التواف بهما قد يكبان من زائرة الشرك بعد الإسلام, BUT ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى وتعالى انزل الآية to confirm that seeking between the ranks and the dead the remaining Shariah of God has nothing to do with what was in ignorance, على بشعيرة تعبديا لا تجاعت للهوى, بل للانقياد لامر الله.
And he said: “الحج للعنا النقياد والتسليم التام, فالمسلم يرجم حجرًا (الجمرات), ويُقّل حجرًا (الحجر السود), ويطوف بين Jabal, وكل تولو بامر من الله, don’t look at the material or the appearance, بل ایمانً و وطعاً مُلّقة”.
He confirmed that Hajj is not just a formal ritual, but rather a great school of obedience and satisfaction, saying: “If God commands you, say سمعنا وعتعانا, وكن عبدًا منقادًا بقلبك وعقلك, فهذه عظم دروس اليمان”.
