A man has shared how his wife got petty revenge on their entitled neighbor who kept parking their car opposite their driveway – and people say she dealt with it perfectly
A man has praised his wife for dishing out some sweet revenge on their entitled neighbor who has a knack for parking their car opposite their driveway.
He shared how the neighbor persistently parks directly across from their drive, making it tricky for him to navigate his way out each morning.
As it is not against the law to park across the road from someone’s driveway, he chose not to confront the neighbor about the issue. Instead, he vented to his wife about the hassle it caused him and thought no more of it.
However, his wife took matters into her own hands to give the neighbor a taste of their own medicine. He posted on Reddit: “I complained to my wife how the neighbor across the street parks his truck directly across from our driveway, even though there is plenty of room in his driveway.”
“Not a big deal, just annoying to try to maneuver in and out of the driveway with it parked like that since our neighborhood has narrow streets. But hey, there is nothing illegal or immoral about parking there, so just have to accept it.

“Well we made the move this weekend and I had a truck in the driveway unloading stuff, therefore my wife had to park on the street. She purposely parked directly in front of their driveway out of spite. She had never dealt with having to pull in and out of the driveway with the truck parked across the street yet, so that bit of petty revenge was just for me.
“She made me so proud. Felt good to see the neighbor awkwardly trying to back out of their driveway while trying to avoid our car.”
One user responded: “My old neighbor would park in front of his house but like right up to my driveway so it was harder for us to back out. I let it slide for a few weeks but he wouldn’t move the at all so I had the city come tell him…every 3 days after he parked there again. Eventually he got a ticket and stopped (5 feet distance from driveway ordinance).”
While another added: “I have neighbors that do this too. Joke’s on you, have fun watching me back out of my driveway and get 2 cm away from your car every time, I guess.” A third user chimed in: “My kids do this to the neighbors. I told my kids I had given the neighbors permission to back into them, I lied. Doesn’t happen very often now. I’m sure the neighbors appreciate it.”
