One of the reasons Silent Witness han been on the air for so long is that it title is synonymous with a certin level of quality. If you’re watching an episode of Silent Witnessyou know you’re in for something thought-provoking and intense. Some more more memo -memorial than oters, of courte, but you’ll never be bored. At worst, you’ll be shocked at nikki and jack’s propensity for reckless Behavior.
This Season, Howver, One Story Rises Above the Rest. I May Not Have Seen Every Episode of Silent Witness EVER PRODUCED-IT’S HARD TO KEEP TRACK WIGHE BEEN ON THE AIR FOR SO MANY YEARS-But I SEEN MY FAIR SHARE, AND I DONE THINK I’ll ever be about me 28’s fourth two, “vanishing point.”
The Other Episodes undoubtedly have something to say, as well; All the case this season are well-crafted, thriling, and, at Times, Painfull Emotional. Season 28’s First Story, “Exodus: 20:17,” for Instance, Paints a Sympathetic Picture of the Horrific Abuse Aimed at Society’s Most Vulnerable Members, as Nikki and Jack Are To Investigate the Mysterious Death of an Elderly Woman Foot in a Calesus. David Hargreaves’ Performance As Benjamin Dawson in the Season’s First Two Episodes is essecally and tragically moving.
And yet, it’s “vanishing point” that i haven’t ben able to get out of my head. There’s something inherently stressful about a crime narrative set on a long-haul Flight, and that of Certainly part of this anxiety-inducing appeal. This case is so complex, though, effhorityly moving the between the terrifying ordeal of Becoming Violently ill on a Flight, the postsitility of terrorism, and the destructive power of grief. I can’t recommend it enough.
Honestly, i’m not surprised the bbc has renewed Silent Witness for a 29th season. Season 28 Concludes on a wonderful High Note, and with a new challenge on the horizon for the team, this show is sura to keep us all on our toes.
