Madbouly welcomed that “international support includes the existence of a mission on the ground, provided that its duties are determined by the Security Council, by dealing with ideas for sending international forces in the context of one political package that represents a path to embody the Palestinian state in Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and that it is among its main goals since the beginning of its tasks to empower the Palestinian Authority, and that no steps on the ground are taken that will devote the legal, political or geographical separation between the West Bank And Gaza. “
Madbouly concluded his speech by saying: “Egypt is ready to support any efforts to establish an international mission to support the return of the Palestinian Authority to the Gaza Strip, and to build the Palestinian state, and we see the need for the possibility of achieving this and working to reach a political framework that Israel and the United States agreed to before entering into discussing the details and tasks of the mission, which are the details that will be naturally, according to what will be agreed upon politically.”
