The Ministry of Awqaf opens 41 new mosques today as part of its plan to reconstruct the homes of God

The Ministry of Awqaf continues its efforts to reconstruct the homes of God – Glory be to Him – with the opening of 41 new mosques today, Friday, January 31, 2025, in various governorates, 24 mosques, including the replacement and renewal system, and 17 maintenance and development mosques.

The Ministry announced the arrival of the total open mosques since the beginning of July 2024 AD until now to 725 mosques, including 495 mosques, replacement and renewal, and 230 mosques maintenance and development, and confirmed that the total of what was replaced, renewed, maintained and brushed since July 2024 AD amounted to 12806 mosques, at a total cost of about 20 billion and 760 million pounds.

The list of mosques scheduled to open a wide geographical diversity, as follows:

In Assiut Governorate, the works included the replacement and renewal of the mosque: Al -Ashraf, martyrs of Al -Ashraf, the village of Nazleta, Qasrna – Dairout Center; And the mosque: Al -Ghaffar, Al -Mandara Village Bahri – Dairout Center; And the mosque: Dawn of Islam, the village of Nazlet Al -Mukhtoun – Dairout Center; And the establishment of a mosque: the Seal of the Messengers, Ghit al -Barqir – Al -Qusiya Center; And the maintenance of a mosque: Ali Al -Khulais, the village of Nazleta, we stole – the Dairout Center; And the Mosque: Abu Bakr Al -Siddiq, Al -Muta’a Village – Assiut Center; And mosque: Rahman, Ezbet Hilal – Dairout Center.

In Sohag Governorate, the works included the replacement and renewal of the mosque: Al -Anwar Al -Muhammadiyah, Nag al -Sheikh Wahshi – the East Juhayna Center; And the establishment of a mosque: the Islamic complex, West Al -Sabra – Dar Al Salam Center; And the maintenance of the mosque: the emirate, the village of Al -Bourah – Al -Balina Center; And the mosque: mercy, the village of Bandar al -Kirmaniyah – the Sohag Center; And the Mosque: Abbad Al -Rahman, the village of Awlad Ismail – Al -Maragha Center.

In Al -Buhaira Governorate, the works included replacing and renewing the mosque: Al -Qatan Al -Gharbi – Hosh Issa Center; And the mosque: Omar bin Al -Khattab, Irfan Village – Al -Rahmaniyah Center; And the mosque: Al -Nour, Ezbet Saad Jumaa, Village of Bamantawi – Abu Homs Center; And the maintenance of a mosque: Al -Safa and Marwah, Village 1 – Edko Center.

In Beni Suef Governorate, the works included replacing and renewing the mosque: Al -Kabeer, Nasr Gomaa Village – Samasta Center; And the mosque: Rahman, the village of Deir al -Hadid, Al -Hayba – Al -Fashn Center; And the maintenance of a mosque: Sayed Al -Shimi, the village of Hilah – Baba Center.

In Aswan Governorate, the works included the replacement and renewal of the mosque: Al -Ateeq, Al -Marinab village Bahri – Edfu Center; And the establishment of a mosque: our master Imam Al -Hussein, the village of Wadi Grat – Nasr Al -Nuba Center.

In Luxor Governorate, the works included the establishment of a mosque: piety – the city of Taiba; And the mosque: Rahman Al -Rahim, Al -Roza area, the village of Hajar al -Dabaiya – the city of Qurna.

In Gharbia Governorate, the works included replacing and renewing a mosque: Al -Jadeed, Ezbet School – Tanta City; And the mosque: Sidi Hamdan, Shanra Maritime Village – Al -Santah Center.

In Matrouh Governorate, a mosque was established: the Abad Al -Rahman Mosque, Wadi Al -Raml – Matrouh.

In Qena Governorate, the works included the replacement and renewal of a mosque: Al Khalaf Allah Al -Bahri, the village of Samhoud – Abu Tisht Center; And the maintenance of a mosque: Al -Nur Al -Muhammadi, Al -Gharbi village Bahjoura – Nag Hammadi Center.

In Menoufia Governorate, the mosque was maintained: Fatima Al -Zahra, the village of Taddi – Shebin Al -Koum Center.

These efforts confirm the Ministry of Awqaf’s commitment to developing the homes of God – Glory be to Him – and update them to provide an appropriate faith environment for worshipers throughout the Republic in the framework of the Ministry’s interest in the reconstruction of the homes of God – Glory be to Him – materially, spiritually and intellectually.
