Reconciliation and fines .. The judiciary folds the case of Reham Saeed and the Lebanese plastic surgeon

The competent court ruled to punish the Lebanese plastic surgeon Nader Saab in the case against him by the media, Reham Saeed, and accused him of causing her face to be distorted after a serious medical error while undergoing plastic surgery.

7500 pounds of fines

Despite the reconciliation between the two parties earlier, the court ruled that the criminal lawsuit expired on the first charge (medical error), with financial fines imposed on other accusations amounting to: 500 pounds on the charge of divulging medical secrets, 5,000 pounds on the charge of insulting, and 2000 pounds for the charge of defamation, while stopping the implementation.

According to the accusations made by the Public Prosecution of the doctor, and “Telegraph Egypt” obtained a copy of it, that the doctor Nader Saab caused his mistake in the injury of the victim, Reham Amr Esmat Mohamed Saeed, as a result of his neglect and disturbance of his profession, after he had plastic surgery that resulted in uncommon changes in the face, including an inconsistent tension of the eyes and the height of the external corner, with an abnormal loss The two eyelids, which led to a noticeable deformation of the face directly affected its external appearance, according to what was stated in the investigations.

Disclosure of medical secrets

The court also condemned the doctor by disclosing medical secrets related to the victim, after he appeared in telephone interventions with television programs in which he spoke about her previous health condition, and he mentioned the details of surgery she conducted at the age of 37 with another doctor named “Abdel Nour”, which the court considered a violation of the patient’s privacy.

Insulting the media and defaming it publicly

Nader Saab was also convicted of insulting the media publicly, as she was charged with insulting her reputation through televised statements, which included phrases that prejudice her honor and consideration, during which he claimed that she did not pay for the surgery, and that she used it for propaganda purposes for beauty products.

Reham Saeed had announced, earlier, that she reconciled with Nader Saab, as she published a video clip through her official accounts on the communication sites that brought her to his sister “Hoda”, and commented: “In these spatial days, the reconciliation between me and Dr. Nader Saab and his sister, a welcome and easy in Egypt, the peace of mind and psychological peace is the most important thing in the universe.”

She thanked the media, Annabella Hilal, the wife of Nader Saab, for her role in completing reconciliation.

The crisis between the famous media and the plastic surgeon returns to January 2024, when Reham Saeed appeared with changing features after undergoing a plastic surgery that she said was conducted by Dr. Nader Saab, and accused him through a public video of causing her face to be deformed by using Filler injections in a wrong way, which the doctor responded to a legal statement, accusing her of defamation, and declaring his intention to take judicial measures against her Lebanon and Egypt.
