Estée Lauder’s New Concealer Could Not Come at A Better Time. The Brand’s Double Wear Stay-In-Place Foundation (Which has been Around Since 1997) is a cult Favorite Among Millennials and Our Moms, Too, and it made a Concealer version to accommodate People like us. The first one was launched in 2011, but earlier this year it was reformulated.
The new Double Wear Concealer Includes an Extended Shade Range – Now Offering 30 Options that Work on All Skin Tones and Undertones – and the formula han been to a blurring matte finish. The brand also alterid the Applicator to a 3-D Sculpting were designed to reach the small inner of the eyes but also to form to multiple facial shapes and contours. The $ 38 Concealer is a tad bit more expensive than some popular ons on the market including nars, kosas, and tarte, which are all $ 32.
We tried it on five different skin tones, and the verdict is: we love it, and we’d all actually spend oury on it. Here’s what we all thought.
What Shade (s) did you try? 5W (nor a brightening shade).
What did you think? I was really into this. I didn’t expecting the formula to be as creamy and blurring as it was. Be i want a lot of blurring and brightening under my eyes, i usually use Soft matte full coverage longwear confener because it covers up realting. I Started Putting the Estée Concealer to the Test During Paris Fashion Week. I was running around to events and shows and needed my face to last all day long sans cresing, built up oil, or anything Else. Every day I Wore it, I was shocked by the end of the Night. It was Hydrating Throughout the Day while Controlling My Oil, but it was also so soft and blurring that it look like a second skin. I used the shade 5w to brighten my under eye and the middle of my face, and i have served it worn it has been without Foundation.
Would You Buy IT? Yes. I’m Really Picky About Concealers Becouse I Like Full Glam, and Sometimes Conceales have the creamamous I’m Looking for but i Constantly Creasing or Not Giving with The Finish I Want. I’d buy this in a Heartbeat.
What Shade (s) did you try? 0N1 and 1N0.
What did you think? This Concealer is SO brightening with or feeling Too heavy. IT seamlessly Glides ACROSS The Skin With Lifting What Skin-Care or Makeup Products Are Underneath. I ALSO LOVE The Applicator – IT’S SOFT, BUNCY, AND PRECIS.
Would You Buy IT? Yes.
What Shade (s) did you try? I used the color matcher and it suggestted 2W and 3W. The 2W was a perfect match, but the 3W was too dark. I’m Holding on to it for the Summer, though.
What did you think? My Makeup Routine is Pretty Simple, but I use Concealer every day to cover my red spots and acne. SINCE I HAVE FRECKLE, I WANT STRONGE PIGMENT IN THE AREAS I’M LOOKING TO COUNTRY WITH A Good BLEND INTO MY NATURAL SKIN. This workhed so well, and i used to acne on the side of my face and found that it blended seamlessly and stayed in place all day.
Would You Buy IT? Yes.
What Shade Did You Try? 5W (Which was a Pretty Good Match).
What did you think? I’m picy about Concealers SINCE I DON’T WEAR FOUNDATION DAY TO DAY. I hate anything that’s too cakey or heavy. I ALSO TO USE DEWY Formula, and i Need One That a Near-Perfect Color Match-Its Not Easy Criteria to Meet. But this one did. It had a natural finish and nice corage; SHIP WITH A LITTLE PRODUCT, IT WAS ALSO EASY TO BLEND OUT. SO I’M KEEPING THIS ON HAND I WANT EXTRA CEVERAGE. I was a Big Fan of the Applicator, Mostly Because of Like to Spot Conceal and It Made Precise Application a Little More Difficult.
Would You Buy IT? Yes.
What Shade (s) did you try? I used the color matcher and it recommended the shades 0N1 and 1N2. Both of Those Were too much for my skin. Luckily, we received more shades and i dream up testing out the shade 2n.
What did you think? I have Very Dry and Sensitive Skin, Especilantly Around My Eyes. Be i tried this one, i had an eczema flare-up on my right eye, and you can see it stuck to the dry patches after I have applied all my creams. Overall, I like the consisency of the formula. It goes on smoothly, and a little goes a long way.
Would You Buy IT? Yes, but I Waled Shade Match in Person, Considering How the initial Shade matches were a bit off.
