The percentage of contentment in the governorates applied to the health insurance system exceeded 80%

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, confirmed that the Preventive Medicine Sector has not monitored any cases of cholera by withdrawing quantities of water, especially after the spread of cholera in Sudan.

Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said during a telephone interview with the journalist Ahmed Moussa on the program “On My Responsibility”, and broadcast on Sada Al-Balad channel that the first stage of health insurance has been completed, and the second stage includes the governorates of “Kafr El-Sheikh- Damietta- North Sinai- Minya- Matrouh”, and 115 billion pounds of state budget for health to raise hospital efficiency in the second stage.

He continued: The percentage of satisfaction is from the residents of the first stage whose health insurance system has been applied exceeding 80%, and the first stage process is a promising and benefits about 12.8 million citizens.

He continued: We prepare actuarial studies for 20 years to ensure the continuation of the comprehensive health insurance project.

Khaled Abdel Ghaffar indicated that the ministry submitted the initiative to “diagnose rare diseases” to the global health system, and about 41 countries have joined the initiative, which indicates the importance of the initiative and its role in caring for those with rare diseases, and that this initiative is calculated for Egypt.
