Police investigates corruption allegations in the transfer of Ronaldinho Global Sports – Bahraini Al -Wasat newspaper

The French daily newspaper “Le Figaro” reported in its Friday issue that the police are currently investigating the transfer of Brazilian soccer player Ronaldinho from the French Paris Saint -Germain team to Barcelona after suspicion that the deal was marred by corruption.

Thus, the deal of the famous Brazilian star, which was concluded in 2003, was added, compared to 27.5 million euros (6.36 million US dollars) as part of six deals concluded by Paris Saint -Germain, and the French police are currently investigating.

The rest of the deals are related to the sale of French striker Nicolas Anilka to Manchester City for 15.4 million euros. Paris Saint -Germain lost large sums of money in a number of these deals. Investigators suspect that former club officials and mediators in these deals obtained a bribe. Ronaldinho was recently touched by providing detailed information about the potential amounts he received as part of his transfer and not announced. Le Figaro indicated that the Paris Prosecutor in Paris is expected to start an investigation as soon as the police investigation ends
